Third arrest after Enfield shooting leaves man, 20, critically injured

DETECTIVES have arrested a third suspect following the shooting in Enfield which left a 20-year-old man in a critical condition.

The victim was found with a gun shot wound in a car in Travel Lodge Hotel’s car park, in Lincoln Road, close to the A10 Great Cambridge Road, at around 9:45pm, two weeks ago on Wednesday April 5.

He still remains in a critical condition.

The latest arrest of a 21-year-old-man on suspicion of attempted murder who has been released under investigation, follows the arrest of two 20-year-olds last week. Both have been released on conditional bail.

The Met Police’s Trident Area Command - which deals with gang crime-initially investigated the shooting, but it has now been passed to detectives from the force’s Homicide and Major Crime Command.

Detectives have renewed appeals for any witnesses with information to come forward.
